Elmer Axberg started his company in 1957 during the post-war Rockford housing boom. His late wife, Juanita, who kept the books, was the entire office staff at that time. The one-man shop began installing furnaces and air conditioners for just one contractor.
Elmer’s craftsmanship and commitment to excellence paid off. Today, Axberg has grown to include over 30 full-time employees and helps build homes with dozens of area contractors.
Although we’ve grown over the years, Axberg remains a family owned company and maintains a commitment to quality and excellence.
